From Dave Powell at 2009-09-07 19:42:01 : The BBC had a small number of mobile transmitter towers which were based on Bedford RLHZ chassis with bodywork similar to a Green Goddess without the side hose reels and 'cut off' just behind the rear axle. New technology later made them redundant and the trucks were converted to recovery vehicles.
